Between personal use and gifts I have purchased 7 UCO candle lanterns (multile of each size) and all have been high quality and in great condition with the exception of one. I reached out to customer service and they promptly sent me a replacement even though I didn't request one. Very happy with all my UCO purchases.

I think I like this lantern more than my original UCO candle lantern. It’s smaller, lighter, and more straightforward. I bought a 100 pack of 8hr burn time tea lights from Amazon and they burned for 9.5hrs when I tested them, so this will absolutely be replacing the bulky 9hr proprietary emergency candles the OG lantern uses. Plus, it’s super cute! Fits nicely in the neoprene sleeve for the original candle lantern. Easy to load and clean as well, and emits a surprising amount of heat for its size. If hanging in a UL tent I’d recommend adding a large carabiner or short chain so that it doesn’t hang so close to the tent roof.
