When I am dealing with poor conditions to start a fire these work great.
We keep on hand for a power outage or use on the cabin porch for ambiance. Very nice light output when used with the lantern.

I bring this on all winter backpacking and camping trips, and it even comes out car camping in the summer. Sure, there are more efficient lights, there are brighter lights, but there is something about the warmth of a UCO candle lantern that I find very appealing. Naturally, the brass one being the classiest is the only way to go. Beeswax candles.
Lost the little plunger plate in the snow on a recent camping trip while swapping out candles. It's great that the refirb kit is very reasonably priced so you can get your candle lantern back in the game as good as new.
FlatpackSmokeless Firepit &Grill: service was good, we received the grill quickly. I’ve only used it once, for brats and veggies. I took the advice and allowed time for the oak to burn down to coals, so everything cooked well. I am looking forward to taking it along to the cabin for a controlled fire pit and grill with room for a pot or pan too.
Work great will buy again
Like many UCO products, elegant in its simplicity, form successfully meets function, and reasonably priced (given UCO’s ample sales and incentives). Like any smokeless/well ventilated fire pit, expect it burn through wood efficiently/quickly.
Great little knife. Perfect for carry and small cutting jobs.
