🎃 Two Spooky Halloween S’mores Recipes That'll Haunt Your Taste Buds (in the Best Way)

🎃 Two Spooky Halloween S’mores Recipes That'll Haunt Your Taste Buds (in the Best Way)

Halloween isn’t just about costumes and candy—it’s also the perfect time to take your favorite campfire treat and give it a spooky, sugary twist. This year, we got a little creative with our setup, fired up the trusty UCO Flatpack Grill, UCO Sweetfire Firestarter and UCO's Extendable Roasting Forks, grabbed a couple packs of Halloween-themed cookies, and made two terrifyingly tasty s’mores variations you’ll want to try before the season disappears into the night.

Ready for some campfire magic? Let’s get spooky.

👻 Spooky S’mores #1: The Haunted Oreo Cookie S'more

What You’ll Need:

  • Halloween-themed Oreo cookies (the ones with the orange filling and spooky designs)

  • Classic marshmallows

  • Milk chocolate squares (or your fave chocolate bar)

How To Make:

  1. Prep your fire using UCO Sweetfire Firestarter and a few logs. We used the UCO Flatpack Grill—compact, smokeless, and super easy to set up in under a minute.

  2. Once your fire is rolling, grab your Roasting Forks (also from UCO) and toast your marshmallows to golden-brown, gooey perfection.

  3. Twist open two Halloween Oreos to remove the top cookie from each.

  4. Layer a toasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate between the two Oreo halves (cream-side in).

  5. Press gently, let the heat melt everything slightly, and sink your teeth into a haunted flavor explosion.

Why we love it: The crunch of the Oreo, the pop of orange color, and that classic combo of marshmallow + chocolate? Instant Halloween nostalgia.

💀 Spooky S’mores #2: The Skull Cookie Sandwich S’more

What You’ll Need:

  • Pillsbury Halloween Skull Sugar Cookies (pre-bake these at home or on-site if you’re feeling brave)

  • Marshmallows

  • Chocolate of choice

How To Make:

  1. Bake the Pillsbury Skull Cookies beforehand so they’re ready to go when you’re around the fire.

  2. Prep your fire using UCO Sweetfire Firestarter and a few logs. We used the UCO Flatpack Grill—compact, smokeless, and super easy to set up in under a minute.

  3. Once your fire is rolling, grab your Roasting Forks (also from UCO) and toast your marshmallows to golden-brown, gooey perfection.

  4. Sandwich the gooey marshmallow and chocolate between two pre-baked skull cookies.

  5. Bite in and enjoy the chillingly sweet crunch and melt-in-your-mouth center.

Why we love it: The sugar cookies give a softer, buttery bite than traditional graham crackers—and those creepy skull faces are just too fun (and weirdly adorable).
