This candle lantern is amazing. Nothing else on the market quite like it. Outstanding quality and functionality. If you’re looking for a candle lantern, this is the one. Five stars.
Great product, high quality, easy use.
I purchased a UCO No. 2 lantern in 1981 which was made in Redmond WA. It has traveled with me on more winter hiking trail miles than I would have thought possible when I paid a few dollars for it. A testament to its design. I was cleaning it this evening, New Years Eve, and it just struck me that this lantern has been with me as a faithful companion. Other gear has been replaced many times over. It has always functioned with some minimal care. No batteries or charger! Try to get an alkaline battery to power a flashlight at minus 40 degrees fahrenheit. A simple waterproof match to light it without tech failures!
A product designed using the laws and elements of Gaia, and Of Course, whenever you allow her to guide you, the end result is always Excellent, as is the case here. Gravity, metal and fire. The Perfect candle for camping, emergencies at home or on the road. And because its lightweight and compact, you can stow it or take anywhere! Ive had the original since 2004/05 and its held up wonderfully. Just pulled it out today (hence my visit review. Kudos
I found this little gem in some of my parents old camping gear and took it along for my first camp out with my own kids. Its a warm little light. Its brighter than you might expect. It is light weight and unexpectedly resistant to the winds that we had on the Pacific coast. Theres a million other light sources that you can take along but Ive never used one as charming or mood setting. As the campfire burns down it provides sufficient light for evening preparations that usually require devices with heavy batteries. It is a housed candle flame thats well protected from wind, it burns brightly and consistently.
