I work in very remote regions in Panama as a field scientist and conservation professional. Our trips easily last week's to months in remote regions without any semblance of modern infrastructure. Great usable backpacking equipment is really essential for us. This personal mess kit is great for packability. It's very robust on first impression and wonderfully colorful. For us colorful is important so we don't loose things! Very happy, we have two mess kits, both great.

I use mine for taking my lunch to work and it works great. Not big enough for a huge meal but that works for me. Good looking kit, looks better in person with topo lines etc.
