Designed with style in mind, the Beta Headlamp features 4 unique photo quality stylized straps and a real wood inlay. The lens articulates independently from the body of the headlamp allowing you to easily direct the beam to the activity at hand. The Beta is powered by 3 AAA batteries (included) and uses a simple button operation to cycle between High, Medium, Low and strobe. Maximum output of up to 200 lumens.

Great Headlamp

Each item ordered and received is exactly as pictured, as are all the UCO products I have purchased over the years. All work beautifully and I hope the electricity goes so I can use all my lanterns!

The best overkill.

bought one, and loved it. I got another for my wife, and she to, loved it. Then one weekend, I was on my sailboat, I needed alot of light, to make a reapair, while underway. I took both lights and put them together on my headstrap.This extra 200lm, on my head made all the difference of the light I needed. It was great! Maybe overkill, but great! Out on the ocean,lots of light is always positive, so this worked so well, Ive left in on. 400 lumins are really very usefull. On a sailboat, in really dark, really dark, night, they were as good as it gets. I wear two on the headstrap all the time now!!!!!

The headlight I have been looking for

This headlight is my go-to headlight when I go backpacking. Its simplistic design and feel are unmatched in its price point. Its also the lightest headlight I own. The only thing that is missing is a red light

Brighter than expected

I wasn't sure what to make of different lumen ratings but suffice to say 200 lumens is much brighter than you actually need around camp. I use medium usually and bright when I walk.
