from 465 reviewsThis is a great little knife. The blade is sharp and will hold an edge. Great for opening packages, cutting rope or whittling a piece of wood. A little too small for a weapon, but it will fit in you pocket or purse easily. I bought one, loved it, lost it and bought another. Then I bought three as gifts
Always wanted an alcohol stove works great love the simmer ring!
These are the best ever as a long haul driver sometimes I cant go to get food, In that case I can easily boil water for a freeze dried meal , Fast set up easy to clean and compact
Blade quality is very good and can handle most cutting needs. The blade lock works well and the knife feels good in the hand. Thanks for the clip too... makes it easier to secure the knife.
this is the perfect little “helper”…love the design and the quality! had to buy a second one for backup…heh! highly recommended!
The website is good, the price point is fair for an all S.S. Firepit. I was able to get 25% off while you had a sale. There are a few minor adjustments I will be doing to accommodate using the grill sideways with only one end across the short width of pit so I can cook over the flame but also have the grill extending off the pit to move foods off the flame and allow adding more wood without removing the grill.
I’ve built a few smokers , fire pits and stainless steel pizza ovens and was about to fabricate something for my RV/car camping jaunts when I stumbled upon the UCO firepit grill. Right away I knew it was a great design. Above all, the best part of the firepit is the ability to fold flat for easy storage. I’m not sure why they include instructions as it is as foolproof to use as can be. On first use, I was able to get a good base fire going, then the smokeless feature kicked in and it really got a great flame above the top of the pit. Unlike other barrel shaped smokeless pits that do not throw much heat below the top of the pit, the UCO really does a great job of radiating heat thru the sides as they mention. I love it and was surprised at the reasonable price point.
I bought the brass lantern after using the aluminum one for awhile. And while I did love the aluminum one, the brass one is the one I’ll be taking with me on trips. With my original lantern, I had had it so long one of the legs was slightly bent, giving the whole top a slightly leaning appearance. Also, the ends of the metal legs where they go into the body did not always want to popout the way they should. With the brass lantern having thicker and stronger/sturdier metal all of these concerns are gone. Add some beeswax candles to it and there’s no mess and you get a nice long glow. Worth the extra money!
