This is a great little knife

This is a great little knife. The blade is sharp and will hold an edge. Great for opening packages, cutting rope or whittling a piece of wood. A little too small for a weapon, but it will fit in you pocket or purse easily. I bought one, loved it, lost it and bought another. Then I bought three as gifts

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your feedback. When we designed this knife, we prioritized its small size and light weight. As you've noted this does make it more difficult to flick the blade fully open, but it is possible with a little practice and some technique if that's important to you. Around our office there are a few different techniques but mostly it requires getting the clip end of the knife firmly planted on your palm (I also place my middle finger in the cut out of the pocket clip), then your index finger nail goes right at the top of the kick on the blade/spline and with a quick pulldown (and maybe a little wrist flick) the blade will fully deploy into its locked position. It can also help to make sure the pivot point is clean of pocket lint etc., and a drop of oil if it's really dry or you've washed the knife under the faucet or something. ( It's also worth noting that the video on our product page shows how you can flick the blade out partially, then complete the rotation with your thumb in a one-handed manner. )

I believe our CS and product team did reply to your previous questions - but to answer again here, the knife isn't really intended to be adjusted because the factory Loctite's the pivot screw. You could potentially loosen that by breaking the Loctite free, but most customers aren't prepared to do that so we don't suggest it.
